Importance of Context
It is important to choose the appropriate term for a particular
context.
Example: 'Attendance Allowance' occurs twice in the
database. In the context of local government, the correct
term would be 'Lwfans Mynychu' (ie, payment for attendance
at council meetings), but in social services the appropriate
term is 'Lwfans Gweini' (ie, a care allowance).
Where different terms are required for different contexts,
an explanation is given in the 'Notes' box.
A note is also provided in the case of specific terms used in legal contexts.
